Where in the world is Yvonne these days? Victoria, BC! And tonight (Tuesday August 6), she'll be attending the opening reception of Remembering Amelia at Open Space (510 Fort Street). 

Remembering Amelia celebrates the contributions of dance maverick Amelia Itcush, dance artist, teacher, fitness pioneer and one of the country's finest somatic movement analysts. Regina's New Dance Horizons has produced a touring exhibition and a series of movement workshops to honour Itcush, which will touch down at Open Space in Victoria, BC from August 6 to 10. 

Grab your friends and family and join Louis Riel Métis Dancers Madelaine McCallum and Luis Canton at the BC Métis Federation & Vancouver Métis Citizens Society's Evening of Culture on Tuesday July 23 in Stanley Park's stunning Klahowya Village. With music, entertainment, food and fun in a beautiful setting, this event promises to be a night to remember! The event starts at 6. Admission is only $10, or by donation, and includes a burger or hot dog and a drink. We look forward to seeing you there!
