La Mitchin di Mitchif is an Indigenous contemporary dance work created by Yvonne Chartrand and co-choreographed with Dancing Earth Artistic Director Rulan Tangen. The work is inspired by cultural ancestral knowledge of Mitchif plant medicines.

The development of La Mitchin di Mitchif involved consultations with Elders and cultural keepers. Respect for cultural protocols and ways of knowing are fundamental aspects of creation.
