Yvonne's in Toronto for two weeks, working with Michael Greyeyes and Signal Theatre. Here's a note from Yvonne on the road!

I arrived in Toronto just in time to attend Outside Looking In, and witness the amazing performances by 57 youth dancers from Native communities across Canada at the heritage Winter Garden Theatre. Founder Tracy Smith (third from left in the top picture below) created OLI to give Indigenous youth and communities an opportunity to engage in a long term intensive program through dance. Their heartfelt stories were also shared through a film of their amazing journeys. Metis artisan Virginia Barter (far left) gifted me with this incredible evening. Congratulations to all the dancers and their families!
